About Us

2020 and the pandemic taught me and my wife that life is what happens while we’re busy making plans. Life doesn’t wait around for us. It has always been our dream to be practice owners – we can take care of people. Our practice philosophy is always to put people first. That means patients and their smiles are our priority. We have the training to help people in this one arena, and although we are not superheroes, we have the expertise to improve this aspect of lives. We believe that people should smile every day. We believe people should have access to oral health. We believe that your teeth and your mouth are used every single day, multiple times a day. And not to exaggerate our importance, but we can help with that – and improve your quality of life, every single day. So if you have cavities or gum disease, we can help with that. If you are unhappy with your dentures, we can help with that. If you are looking to smile without being self-conscious, we can help with that. Patients come first.

We work with your dentist to realize your dream. As I said, this is about you. Whether it’s a single tooth that needs to come out, or if it’s a full smile to be recreated, your dentist will help quarterback the team, and we will play our part. We do more than dental implants. If you need an oral biopsy, a broken jaw fixed, or some botox touch-ups, we can do that too.

Education & Technology

We believe that the best decisions are made when all the information is available. My mother is a teacher. Education is important to me, and I strive to make my patients informed. Take all the time you need – make sure you get all your questions answered. I am a lecturer at the University of Detroit-Mercy. I give local seminars to my referring dentists and patients. I have published multiple journal articles and book chapters.

But I know my experience and expertise are still limited. The new thing is happening as I’m still doing the old thing. So even though I teach continuing education classes, I still take them myself. Does your dentist do zygomatic implants? Does your surgeon do pterygoid implants? Are dynamically or static-guided implants better? Can we do partial extraction therapy (socket-shielding) for a more natural-looking tooth?

And this is where technology comes in for me. Technology is not good by virtue of it being new. New doesn’t necessarily mean better. I believe in technology which is proven. I believe in technology that is practical. Just because something is “State-of-the-art” doesn’t mean it’s better for my patient. So I believe in using technology to improve my outcomes – making the implant last longer, lowering complications, making your smile worthy of Hollywood – making you happier.
